Drishti eye camps have been operating for over the last 25 years.  Inspired by a trip to Dhaka, Bangladesh with a fellow Doctor from Paisley in 1984,  Dr Sadhu Gupta established Drishti – a project with a primary focus of saving the eyesight of hundreds of impoverished people around the world.

Over the years Dr Gupta has held in excess of 15 eye camps in countries such as India, Pakistan, Nepal, Ethiopia and Myanmar performing cataract operations on those not fortunate enough to have access to any medical care.
