Danny Chundoo supports Dr Gupta on his missions. Originally from Mauritius he has been involved in organising and managing the eye camps with the host country team for many years. Back in Scotland he works as an alcohol addiction nurse having retired as a clinical nurse manager in psychiatric nursing.

A keen Rotarian, he is president of the Rotary club of Greenock and currently the International service chair for the District 1230.

Through the Rotary club, he was also last year appointed as team leader for Rotary group study exchange programme and took a team for cultural and education trip to Gujarat India in January 2013
